About the shop

Oak & Ember opened in 2014 as a stall at the Saturday market and moved into the shop on Kerr Street two years later. We sell things for the home that are made to be used every day: stoneware you can put in the dishwasher, linen that gets softer, candles that burn clean.

Most of what we carry is made by small studios in Ontario and Quebec. We know the makers, we have visited the workshops, and we can tell you who made your bowl.

Everything in the shop ships across Canada, and returns are free within 30 days.
